  昌增益

 

  基本简介:

  昌增益,北京大学教授、博士生导师。萍乡荷尧镇人。1965年出生,16岁考入华东师范大学,20岁通过CUSBEA项目公派赴美留学,27岁毕业于美国贝勒医学院生物化学系,获博士学位,之后三年为美国休斯顿医学研究所博士后研究员,30岁回国后在清华大学任教,32岁获国家杰出青年科学基金奖。曾任清华大学生物系教授,博导、清华大学医学院院长助理(院长为吴阶平院士)、“蛋白质科学”教育部重点实验室副主任、清华大学生物化学与分子生物学研究所副所长(1998-2003)。现任北京大学生命科学学院教授、博士生导师(2003年9月开始)。现任国际蛋白质协会刊物Protein Science(蛋白质科学)刊物编委。

  研究领域:

  1. 生物的胁迫响应,包括衰老和休眠现象的分子机制 (Stress responses of living organisms: including the molecular mechanism of aging and dormancy)

  2. 生物体内蛋白质-蛋白质相互作用的发生情况、机制、及生物学意义 (Mechanism and biological significance of protein-protein interactions)

  学术兼职:

  国际蛋白质学会现任主席Arthur G. Palmer博士(美国哥伦比亚大学教授)代表其现任执委会(executive council)于2008年6月12日来函,正式任命北京大学生命科学学院副院长、北京大学跨院系蛋白质研究中心主任昌增益教授为该组织执委,任期为3年(2008年-2011年)。该组织的执委会一般由15人组成,包括该组织的前任主席,现任主席和候任主席等。执委会每年开会两次,是该组织的最高议事和权利机构。
